During the first surgery, doctors implant more than one hundred electrodes in the right side of her brain, to pinpoint the abnormal part.
The surgeons follow that with a second surgery,removing the electrodes and the part of the brain they suspect was causing the seizures.
Miss gayle was seizure free three months later.
